A very up-Lifting new map for Heartlake City!

Fans have certainly noticed the new building-block, monochrome maps for Heartlake City in 2016.  The previous maps were getting quite full and somewhat hard to know where each set structure is actually placed in relation to others.  We know this from using the 2014 map as our set reviews page.
The 2016 maps are in the instruction booklets of new sets, plus other printed & digital LEGO Friends media -- yet, this map is on the wall of an elevator!  Yep, you get to search for your favorite spot while ascending to the next level.  As added experience, the vinyl walls are scented and the lift includes music.
This "Let's be Friends" campaign is located in mall lifts in the UK and is called "Adlift, Experience" by its creator, a company called Limited Space.  Lift riders get to see lovely large, glossy images of the new sets, such as the Heartlake Supermarket.

In the second wave of 2015, 5 Pop Star sets were released. This year 2 additional sets joined the sub-theme featuring Livi!

The five Friends have been getting a taste of the glamorous celebrity lifestyle as they spend time with the famous pop star.

This is the 3rd set from the Birthday Party sub-theme I am reviewing. In my two previous reviews, I showed you scenes with all the other four party sets, in which the cute animals are getting ready to go to the big birthday party!

Colorful decorative bunting is added to the basic box art to indicate this is a set from the party sub-theme.

Box Back

The back of this small box is pretty much filled with all the warning messages in 33 different languages. This was not the case with last year’s small animal sets.

So, the additional product image which was meant to appear on the back of the box was pushed to one of the sides this year.
Box Side

The box for the North American market has this alternate product image on the back instead of the multilingual warnings.

Build a display stand

Blending LEGO building with useful items we use around our homes has recently gained in popularity -- with all types of lifestyle and fashion uses across society.  That's why these building tutorials from the LEGO Friends team are not only helpful for learning building techniques -- they are also in style!
So far the items are: a flower-box (that would be handy for Valentines or Mothers Day), string art (create your name for your door perhaps), a kaleidoscope (with bricks creating the groovy shapes & color illusions), a "bricked" floral addition to a headband (or a cool crown one at the end of that tutorial), and the Cupcake display stand that has been embed below (could be built for different food items, or fun for AFOL weddings, and the tutorial also shows other styles ideas at the end):

Click through to YouTube and you should see the prompts for the rest of the tutorials on the right sidebar.
Enjoy the inspiration!
