Review: 41379 Heartlake City Restaurant

An evening out for Pizza or Spaghetti at this new Italian dining spot is just what Emma needs tonight! Ethan has secured a table on the upper Patio. Let's see what chef has on the menu and enjoy this lovely architecture.

This Friendly neighborhood restaurant, designed by Wes Talbott - formerly of the LEGO Elves team, has been placed just a few miles from downtown Heartlake City -- as we can see its skyscrapers in the distance. Having designed so many of the whimsical Elves sets, it's a pleasant surprise to see such a realistic creation from Wes.
This is a very wide box, with the now standard doodle graphics on the flanges and the "teamwork" heart motif with the 5 Friends.

Box back let's us see inside the kitchen and a few cameo insert images of features and activities.
Thumb-push tabs seem to be more common on large boxes now; they used to be only on small ones. My box was smashed a bit coming to the USA from the EU; it can't stand on its own, so I've had to photograph it lying flat -- which isn't ideal, since it's as big as Mia's House box.

40360 LEGO Friends Name Sign Review

Friends fans have been spoiled with decor items for years, and this new-for-2019 90-piece LEGO® Friends 40360 Name Sign gets added to the array. Being customizable makes it even better for more LEGO Lifestyle!
The box front shows the options for personalizing the sign with stickers-on-tiles. Because it's a small box, there are no classic Friends flanges.

Back of the box has a back of the sign inset. Andrea does not come with this set; however the parts are in her signature colors. She's here to give you an idea of the box size.  When seeing it online, for some reason I thought it would be bigger.

Box contents: white 8x16 baseplate, 23-page instructions booklet, 3 identical sticker sheets, a small bag of parts and a bigger bag of parts.  Note: product description on LEGO shop site says 2 sticker sheets -- so I may have received an extra in my box.

Box top gives us our "actual" parts size ratio with Andrea's heart in flame yellowish orange of 2 coupling plates connected. Again, Andrea does not come with this set -- yet just helping us see the box size.
Okay, okay ... maybe I do love her racing outfit with the Teal sleeve; since we get some lovely Teal curvy tiles in this box, she is glad to help.

Review: 41358 Mia's Heart Box

Best camping shelter ever! Mia's Heart Box lid as a campfire site is more like glamping. It's stylish and colorful with all her outdoor adventure supplies, plus a furry friend!

This set was provided by the AFOL Engagement of The LEGO Group for the purpose of sharing set details with fans. Opinions provided here solely reflect those of our reviewer. Photographs are property of FriendsBricks and are not directed by TLG in any fashion.

Front of this heart-shaped LEGO box shows real girls using walkie-talkies with a flag-topped mountain circular graphic inset above them. It's not Mia's icon per se, however it is similar to the Camp Heart logo from 2016.
The product image shows Mia using her heart top as a camping site. Inset shows how everything fits into this container we build. Yet, we will have to adjust one built item -- you'll find out in the end.

Box back has the rainbow heart motif with all 5 main Friends in graphic form, which is on the front of all other boxes.
The set built image shows her using her heart box as shelter at a camp site. Her wee bunny Cinnamon shows us the element 1:1 size ratio.
All 5 Friends in their graphic form along the bottom are above each individual heart box -- sorry you can't see Emma's for the 'not for sale' sticker, due to this being sent from Denmark, as I'm in North America. Yet you can see it as the top heart box depicting how we can stack them all.

Review: 41357 Olivia's Heart Box

Tablet, wrench & robot ... some of Olivia's favorite things. Plus chocolate!
Our "techie" Friend has a mini version of Zobo for this succinct set shaped like her original icon: a Heart!

This set was provided by the AFOL Engagement of The LEGO Group for the purpose of sharing set details with fans. Opinions provided here solely reflect those of our reviewer. Photographs are property of FriendsBricks and are not directed by TLG in any fashion.

Box front of this clever heart-shaped box has real girls with their "maker" projects -- a wooden gear of course, since it's Olivia's icon. The circle inset graphic above them has a series of inter-connected gears to represent her.
The product image shows Olivia on her heart's lid with her tablet and robot Zobo -- in miniature form. From one of the side facets we can see Olivia ... yet someone else is hiding.

Box back has Olivia taking a chocolate break inside her heart box. Her (somewhat rare) printed Tablet device is used for the 1:1 size ratio for product information.
The bottom features all 5 Friends graphic versions above each of their own heart boxes -- and then they are stacked.
