Review: Beach Hammock promo polybag

 

Beach Hammock  Set # 5002113 Year of Release: 2014 29 pieces

This is a promotional set that I found on ebay the other day. I don't know what event this polybag set will be distributed at, so I went ahead and bought it while it's available. I paid about $6 including shipping. So, here's the content of the set.

As you can see, this set doesn't come with a mini-doll or an animal figure. It comes with just a handful of LEGO pieces, an instruction sheet, 3 postcards (printed on both sides), and some rare fabric pieces for the hammock and blankets, which were what I was looking forward to adding to my collection.

   The LEGO elements you get in this set are quite ordinary. No extra pieces are included in the set.

The fabric pieces are cute and the quality is just good enough for a promotional toy. So here's the completed hammock and accessories. Here, Kate is trying to relax in the hammock. The fabric is a bit too thick and warm, though. The blankets look cute placed on a beach. This is a pretty nice add-on set for your LEGO Friends collection. I think the hammock will also look good combined with the camping sets or Olivia's house. I wouldn't mind getting more of these add-on polybags... only if they are not too hard to find.
