Review: 41105 Pop Star Show Stage

This is the fourth Pop Star set we will be showing you. By now we have met Livi and had a look at her glamorous life. Now we are ready to see her on stage! Accompanying her in the spotlight is the future pop star Andrea. Together the two lovely performers will mesmerize the crowd in Heartlake City.

Review: 41106 Pop Star Tour Bus

 

Introducing the largest vehicle the streets of Heartlake City have ever welcomed: Pop Star Tour Bus! What you see is VIP luxury on wheels! It can conveniently turn into a mini-concert stage on the go, so wherever Livi finds herself on this bus, that’s where the best show in town is going to be!

What immediately drew my attention was the suggested age range of 8-12, appearing for the first time in LEGO Friends. It shows that this set requires more complex building techniques than any previous Friends sets, typically marked ages 5-12, 6-12 or 7-12. The only other Friends set for ages 8-12 is 41101 Heartlake Grand Hotel.

Review: 41104 Pop Star Dressing Room

 Livi the pop star is finally in town and fans in Heartlake City can’t contain their excitement at her first show! But before she can step out onto the stage, our fashion conscious Friend Emma helps her get ready and look her best in this Pop Star Dressing Room set!

Review: 41103 Pop Star Recording Studio

The summer is almost here, and something exciting is coming up: Livi the pop star is touring in Heartlake City! This set is one of the five sets from the brand new Pop Star sub-theme, and our tech-savvy Friend Olivia volunteers to help with the recording equipment in the studio!

The overall package design is the same as the regular Friends sets, but this one, as well as the other Pop Star sets, has a bold look with dark purple, pink and bright yellow sprinkled with shining stars and spot lights in white.
And exclusive to the Pop Star box design is the appearance of Livi in the box art together with the five Friends.

Review: Heartlake Food Market 41108

Fresh is always best! Build the Heartlake Food Market for a "just around the corner" spot to buy groceries and catch up with friends.

This 2-story shop has an owner's apartment upstairs with a rooftop terrace. Check out the farm-fresh produce in the baskets & crates, then step inside for jar of strawberry jam!

The plane looks very nice! I wish the airport itself were much bigger, though. The security area that comes with 41100 Heartlake Private Jet will be a nice addition to the airport.

New stuff on LEGO Club page

I have just found the instruction on the LEGO Club page for the new model you can build with 41090 Olivia's Garden Pool and 41091 Mia's Roadster. I haven't taken apart those two sets since January, and I think now it's time to turn them into something different! This little juice bar model can be a nice addition to Heartlake City Pool.

This cute model can also be seen in the Yellow Brick Insert of LEGO Club magazine for May/June 2015.

Shovels of bricks break ground for Heartlake City

Look at all those bricks flying in the air -- like dirt!  I'd like a bucket to catch them!

It's a Heartlake City groundbreaking ceremony and these lucky Girl Scouts / LEGO Friends fans get to be part of the building process. These new Legoland areas will be opening at most of the parks across the world in late May, or early June (check the website of the one near you).
In addition to a riding camp, carousel, car driving track, animal rescue, and building areas with LEGO bricks, there will be a performance stage and loads other Friends activities to enjoy.

 

Mini-movie Episode 7

Finally, the brand new mini-movie is scheduled to air this month! Episode 7 is called *"Kate's Island" , and should be 22 minutes long just like the previous six episodes. It will be broadcast on Disney Channel at 9:00AM on Sunday, March 15th in my area of the US. Please check if and when it will come on in your region or country. I know it will premier a week earlier on French TV.

*Edited on March 12th: the title for the new episode has recently been changed from "Kate's Island" to "Andrea's Big Moment". "Kate's Island" must be another episode for later this season. 

If you are also a fan of the new Elves Elves theme, don't forget to watch the Elves mini-movie, either! In my area it will come on at 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 8th on Disney Channel.

Fabie, a forum member in France, has told me about the new episode which aired on Gulli in France on Saturday, March 7th!
